Creative family time: watercolor painting course at the Senftenberg Museum!
On July 25th and 26th, 2026, the OSL District Museum in Senftenberg will become a creative meeting place for families. Families with children aged 6 and over can let their artistic side run wild in a watercolor painting course led by the talented artist Wenke Richter. [Kulturkurier] reports that this course offers special insights into the techniques of watercolor painting and washing and even includes the opportunity to search for motifs around the old fortress complex.
The course lasts two days with the following times: Friday, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Not only the painting but also the entire atmosphere is promised to be colorful. Places are limited and the registration deadline for all curious artists is July 24, 2026. This year, due to the corona-related measures, an outdoor program will be offered on a smaller scale. The new family days are aimed at entire families or people from one household, but a maximum of eight participants. Sometimes it's good to let your creativity blossom in the fresh air.
