The tempers of those involved became heated, leading to insults and even threats. To calm the situation, the police were called and eventually had to separate the brawlers. A total of three reports have been filed regarding the incident. After it was quieter again, those involved left the beach in different directions.
But that wasn't enough on an eventful Thursday for the police officers. Another incident occurred in Großräschen around 4:30 p.m.: A cyclist was hit by a car when he suddenly drove onto the road. The cyclist had to be taken to hospital by emergency services and the damage to property amounted to several thousand euros. In Lauchhammer, a car driver was also checked who was behind the wheel with an alcohol level of over 1.3 per mille. The result: a blood sample in the hospital and the immediate confiscation of the driver's license. Another driver who was checked in Zerkwitz on Friday morning also had a borderline alcohol level and had to surrender his driver's license.

On the same day, a traffic accident occurred in Brieske in which a 16-year-old driver of an e-scooter collided with a car. Fortunately, after immediate treatment in the ambulance, she was able to continue her journey and the situation was quickly brought under control.
