On August 11, 2025, everything in Lausitz will revolve around creatively conscious minds and courageous doers! The STAR*PARADE 2025 is coming soon and offers those interested in starting a business the unique opportunity to bring their ideas to the big stage. This event, which is intended as a competition, attracts numerous entrepreneurs and idea generators and is organized by various players in the Lusatian start-up ecosystem. And the best thing: participation is free!

Do you have an idea that you have always wanted to realize? The STAR*PARADE enables you to present your visions to a broad audience. Prospective founders have the opportunity to prove themselves in various categories, with space being created for school students, crafts, services and trade, health and social affairs, cultural and creative industries, forestry and agriculture as well as technology and digital. Social enterprises are also warmly invited to present their projects. The application deadline is August 31, 2025 and the grand finale will take place on November 5, 2025 - an opportunity not to be missed. Benefits for all participants

The benefits of taking part in the STAR*PARADE are almost unbeatable. In addition to valuable know-how and professional feedback from experts, you can also take part in an exchange of experiences on an equal level. There are also attractive prizes and the chance to make valuable contacts with partners, customers and investors. Last year, 80 people took part, presenting a total of 50 pitches, and 12 winners received prize money of 25,000 euros. In addition to the cash prizes, there were also individual coaching sessions and equipment vouchers to be won - that makes it twice as much fun!

For anyone who is still unsure: Pitch training will take place in Lower and Upper Lusatia in September and until October 20, 2023, in order to best prepare the participants for the big finale.

At the kick-off for this startup ecosystem on September 19, 2024, important steps were already taken to redesign the region and further promote the entrepreneurial spirit.
