On Friday, November 7th, we start in Barsikow with a cozy meeting café “Herzhaftes”, which is open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Altes Consumer. If you're on foot, you shouldn't miss the St. Martin's parade at 5 p.m. in the Königshorst community center. Things are really getting down to business in Neuruppin this Friday! The weekly market at Schulplatz is open for all gourmets from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Martinimarkt will be the highlight of the evening with over 100 showman attractions and a large fireworks display in the city center from 2 p.m. to midnight. The whole thing is accompanied musically by the Klaus Renft Combo in the Kulturhaus Stadtgarten, whose tickets are available for 39 euros.
On Saturday, November 8th, a cinema evening with the film “Thomas Müntzer” and a Mistery evening in Kagar are planned in Berlitt. In Neuruppin itself you should definitely attend the concert by the American rock legend Randy Hansen in the Kulturhaus Stadtgarten - for as little as 29.50 euros you can get some of the best sounds from the States. Dance enthusiasts can also dance at the couples dance night in Hangar 312 from 8 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. for 15 euros.
A varied Sunday
Sunday, November 9th also has a lot to offer. In Dreetz there will be a model railway and model car fair in the community center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In Neuruppin there is, among other things, a puppet theater with “Hansel and Gretel” in the sports center (11 a.m. and 3 p.m., tickets for 12 euros) and a concert at 5 p.m. to commemorate the night of the pogrom. Other attractions on Sunday include the “Light and Dark” vernissage in the Kunstraum at 12 p.m. and the concert with the cult band Karat at 6 p.m. in the Kulturkirche – sold out!
The weekend will be rounded off with vigils and memorial events commemorating the pogrom night throughout the region, including in Rheinsberg and Wusterhausen. Here you can not only gain historical insights, but also show that we learn from the past.
