Neuruppin 2025: The Martinimarkt is once again attracting over 100 showmen!
It's time! The Neuruppin Martinimarkt 2025 is just around the corner and promises a lot of fun and entertainment for young and old from October 31st to November 9th. With an impressive tradition spanning 369 years, this fair is the largest fair between the Baltic Sea and Berlin and attracts numerous showmen and visitors every year.
The market begins on Friday, October 31st at 2 p.m. with a festive service on the bumper car, followed by an official opening. A highlight of the first day is the traditional torchlight parade, which starts at 5:30 p.m. and moves from Rheinsberger Tor train station and the REIZ parking lot. Mayor Nico Ruhle will give the opening speech, and the anticipation for the coming days is already palpable.
Attractions and offers
This year over 100 showmen will set up their stands and rides. The market offers a colorful mix of different attractions, including 21 rides such as the impressive Ferris wheel, the break dance and the “caterpillar track”. For the little ones there are special children's attractions such as the “Viva Kuba” running shop. There is also a lot on offer in terms of cuisine, from Hungarian langos and Polish Kraków to freshly baked crepes and cotton candy.
Peter Golsteijn, an important supporter of the showmen, will be on site with a mobile market stall and, among other things, needs a seal for a water hose to ensure the smooth operation of all attractions. He is in his third year in Neuruppin supplying showmen from Germany, Belgium, Holland and France and supports the showmen with an extensive range of spare parts. These include, among other things, taps and cable ties.
