Attention creative minds: TECCI competition calls students to new ideas!
Things are going well again in Potsdam-Mittelmark! The TECCI 2026 competition has been announced and invites all students to submit their creative and innovative projects. Registration starts in September 2025 and the deadline for applications is May 15, 2026. Whether in a team or alone - everyone is warmly invited to contribute their ideas and get a chance to win great prizes. Potsdam-Mittelmark reports that all students from grades 1 to 13, including high school centers and vocational schools, can participate.
The TECCI competition offers students the opportunity to compete in various areas such as technology, art, social and environmental issues. Projects can be submitted in all phases of development – from initial concepts to ongoing projects and results that have already been realized. Important support here is the pedagogical support, which is recommended in order to further develop the ideas. School economy emphasizes that the aim of the competition is to reward particularly unusual and creative student projects.
An exciting finale awaits
The participants can look forward to the award ceremony on June 3, 2026 in the adult education center at Seddiner See. The selected projects will be presented live here and the audience will have the opportunity to vote on the best ideas. The winners can expect not only praise and applause, but also attractive prizes that reward their hard work. The motto of the competitions is: “Discover, learn and be creative!” – and this applies to all young people, regardless of whether they are talented in MINT subjects or are involved in social science projects. The BMBF supports numerous initiatives to promote the inventive spirit of young people.
Take a look at the diverse possibilities that the TECCI competition offers. Multipart projects or simple ideas, everything counts! Not only will it be an exciting competition, but also an excellent opportunity for networking and developing valuable skills. The competition is therefore not just a race for prizes, but also a springboard for the future - an opportunity that students should definitely not miss.
