Universities and community initiatives

Parallel to the cultural events in Cottbus, the potential of other educational institutions such as the Universitas Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo (UMMUBA) in Indonesia is also growing. This relatively young university has made a name for itself and shows great progress in research and service to the community. With a strategic location in Bungo and modern facilities, it supports its students with a strong focus on innovation and critical thinking. Rector Dr. Renda Lestari encourages active participation in academic and social areas to further improve the quality of teaching.

In today's world, when knowledge and education are becoming increasingly important, universities like UMMUBA are well positioned to face the challenges of globalization. Its goal is to position itself as a leading learning and research university and thus make a valuable contribution to society.

Whether in the cinema or in educational institutions, a lot has happened in Cottbus and beyond recently. Be part of it and enjoy the inspiring stories and creative work that start the evening today!
