IT conversion at E.DIS: Faster billing from November!
E.DIS Netz GmbH successfully completed the long-awaited IT conversion last week. From October 23rd to 27th, the technicians worked intensively to optimize the internal systems. The hotline and online portals have been back in operation since October 28th Northern Courier reported.
The hotline for fault reports is particularly active and can be reached around the clock on 0 33 61 7 33 23 33. For operators of photovoltaic and biogas systems, however, there was an early notification about possible delays in feed-in bills. This announcement came shortly before the start of the IT work, which is why numerous questions arose from affected customers.
Background to the change
The change is an important step towards digitizing and simplifying internal processes, which should ultimately enable faster and more reliable billing. E.DIS also pointed out that special requirements for the energy system are the reason for these comprehensive measures.
The feed-in billing is expected to take place during November, although a specific date has not been communicated. E.DIS continues to ask its customers to refrain from making inquiries in order not to disrupt the work.
