There's a lot going on in the football circle at the moment, as the last test matches are coming up before things finally get serious next weekend. The supporters of FSV Altentreptow and SV Burg Stargard can look forward to impressive victories for their teams. Both teams have held each other almost unscathed in their last duels and presented themselves in excellent form.
FSV Altentreptow took on FC Motor Neubrandenburg Süd and celebrated a brilliant 6-0 win. New signing Luca Behrendt was particularly outstanding, hitting the mark three times and making the hosts' defense work up a sweat. Rüdiger Potts also contributed two goals of his own to the clear lead of 2-0 at the break. Eduard Lopatin crowned the performance with the sixth goal. Coach Stefan Gottschalk was pleased with the opportunity, but noted that there was still room for improvement when it came to fine-tuning. Next Sunday Altentreptow will compete against Lübzer SV in the regional class season III - kick-off is at 2 p.m.
Strong performance from SV Burg Stargard
SV Burg Stargard didn't let up and sent SV Sturmvogel Völschow home with a clear 9:2. This victory was ensured by striker Keanu Krämer, who put in an impressive performance with seven goals. Oliver Heß also contributed two goals and ensured that SV Burg Stargard's offense proved to be extremely accurate. Next Saturday the team will play against SV Gützkow in Season II - kick-off is at 1:30 p.m.
Both teams have warmed up and seem well prepared for the upcoming challenges of the new season. The climb is the clear route for the Altentreptower, while the Stargarder Castle will also be chasing points. Northern Courier reports that the local football clubs want to assert themselves in an exciting season and the fans can look forward to exciting games.
