Greifswald celebrates: MV Day inspires with music, fun and tradition!
A celebration of diversity and tradition awaits the citizens of Greifswald, as the 15th Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Day will take place from June 20th to 22nd, 2025. The preparations already show that the city is preparing for an unforgettable event. Greifswald has the honor of hosting this major festival for the second time - an important moment in the city's over 775-year history.
On Friday evening, a stage show on the market square laid the foundation for the festival. The radio station Ostseewelle provided music and entertainment to ensure that the first 1,500 guests were able to get in the mood for the two-day celebration. The highlight of the evening was the concert by the popular pop band Marquess, which further fueled the anticipation for the coming days. Weather forecasts point to bright sunshine, so visitors can look forward to an ideal festival weekend.
