For anyone who loves the beauty of the Baltic Sea coast and the fascination of classic automobiles, the 8th KAISER Classic Tour was a real celebration. From September 18th to 20th, 2025, around 40 vintage cars gathered in Kaiserbad Heringsdorf to take part in this impressive rally. Organized by the Grand Ducal Mecklenburg Automobile Club im AVD e.V., which has been a contact point for classic car lovers since 1911, the event offered everything an automobile lover could desire. Right at the beginning of the event, while strolling along the beach promenade, you could marvel at the historic vehicles that drove between the impressive spa architecture of the imperial era NDR reported.
The rally was suitable not only for experienced vintage car drivers, but also for newcomers. The participants include numerous vehicles built up to 1979, with a particular focus on pre-war vehicles, which made up over 30% of the participants. The routes led through the picturesque landscape of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and even into our neighboring country Poland. Stops at well-known sights ensured a stylish lunch and breathtaking views.
A celebration of automotive culture
The 8th KAISER Classic Tour covered a total distance of around 480 km, which was spread over five stages. A large part of the route was covered on asphalt, with 20% being on cobblestones. The classic car lovers were treated to an impressive selection of historic vehicles, including the oldest classic car, a Citroën HP5 from 1924, as well as a Mercedes 290 from 1935 and a Bentley Le Mans from 1936. What was particularly pleasing was the response from road users who showed consideration for the historic vehicles, which gave the tour a relaxed atmosphere awarded, like that Kaiser Classic -Portal emphasized.
The organizer Sebastian Groehl was very satisfied with how the rally was carried out. The participants had the opportunity to share their passion for classic automobiles in a community of like-minded people and to inspire one another. In a framework that promotes the cultural heritage of the automobile, this event became a real highlight of the year.

The 8th KAISER Classic Tour thrives on tradition and the sporting spirit that has grown over the years. The event will certainly remain an integral part of the calendar for classic car lovers in Germany in the future.
