Carlow, Deutschland - What about Cologne? This weekend there are numerous events in the region that promise promising experiences for young and old. From large festivals organized by committed village associations and fire brigades to happy celebrations - there is something for every taste!
In Carlow, the "rock at the church", which is eagerly awaited, takes place. From July 11th to 13th of the Culture Circle Carlow and the Evangelical Lutheran parish invite you to a colorful program. It starts on Fridays at 9 p.m. with the movie "Monsieur Claude 2" on the open -air stage. On Saturday, rocky sounds are on the plan: Open Air rock concerts for a good cause. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. With the proceeds, the organization "Borderline Europe - Human Rights Without Borders e.V." are supported. The crowning glory is the musical service on Sunday at 11 a.m. in the church.

The summer festival of the volunteer fire brigade in Meetzen, also on Saturday, also celebrates a very special anniversary: 75 years of volunteer fire brigade! At 2 p.m. there is a historic fire brigade parade from Holdorf to Meetzen, followed by fire brigade demonstrations, air rifle shooting and pony rides for the little visitors. DJ Dieter will deliver DJ sounds from 8 p.m.
and also in Groß Rünz, the guests can look forward to a pond and family festival! On July 12 from 11 a.m. there will be many activities, including an obstacle course with a wheelbarrow and a goal wall shooting. The fire brigade not only ensures sufficient entertainment but also the culinary care of the guests.
Heimatfest in Marienwerder
The magnificent local festival in Marienwerder is to forget, which already organized a great celebration for the 120th anniversary of the Marienwerder fire brigade on July 5. The morning began with a large fire brigade parade, in which both old and modern fire engineering was presented. There was a lot going on at the church square, and the skillful hands of the youth fire brigades were also demonstrated in competitions. The festival also included a colorful market and dance evenings with musical entertainment by the band Grandma's Darling and DJ Matthias.whether FV, parties or just a sociable get -together - these events are the best reason to explore the region and spend nice hours together.
