After several postponements due to the low water level, the largest ship built in Wismar is now finally ready for departure. The “Disney Adventure” measures an impressive 342 meters long and 46 meters wide, and the ship is almost 70 meters high. The original plan was to have a capacity for 9,500 passengers and 2,000 crew members. This gem became known as “Global One” and later as “Global Dream” before the Disney corporation took the helm in 2022 and redesigned the ship. These innovations are part of a larger plan, as the maiden voyage from Singapore is scheduled for mid-December.
