Hansa Rostock: On the way to the top half of the table after a 5-0 win!

FC Hansa Rostock has caught up a lot in the last few weeks and has now landed in the top half of the third division table. After the impressive 5-0 win against SSV Ulm, coach Daniel Brinkmann is satisfied, but he remains cool and doesn't want to celebrate too early. “We are on the right track at the moment,” he says, without immediately talking about promotion. This is reported by ndr.de.

The team was already leading 4-0 at halftime, indicating a strong performance. However, Ulm were badly hit by injuries and a negative series, which put Hansa's performance into perspective. Among the team's new additions, Kenan Fatkic, Victor Berg and Andreas Voglsammer have proven to be particularly valuable and have fought for a place in the starting eleven. After five games without defeat (3 wins, 2 draws), the team is in great shape and is aiming for a place in the top third of the table.

New face in the squad

For the 2025/2026 season, Hansa Rostock has signed some interesting new additions to strengthen the squad. Emil Holten from Denmark comes on loan from Fredrikstad FK, a 1.95 meter tall center forward with six goals already this season. Wearing number 11, he could play a key role in the attack.

Viktor Bergh, a left-back from Sweden, is also joining Hansa on loan from Djurgårdens IF. The 1.72 meter tall player brings his experience from the Superettan and Allsvenskan and wears the number 33.

Andreas Voglsammer, a free transfer striker from Hannover 96, will enrich the team with his experience in the 2nd Bundesliga, where he has scored 57 goals in 219 games. His shirt number is 9. Lukas Wallner, a 1.92 meter tall central defender who comes from Hannover 96 II, and David Hummel, who will move to Hansa from FC 08 Homburg on a free transfer, are also increasing the options in the squad.

The next challenges

The next test is just around the corner: Penzliner SV awaits in the state cup round of 16 on November 15th, followed by an important home game against 1. FC Schweinfurt on November 22nd. “We have to concentrate on the results,” emphasizes Brinkmann, who is looking forward to the coming games with confidence.

Historically, Hansa Rostock set a record of 58,492 spectators at the home game against Eintracht Frankfurt in October 1995 at the Berlin Olympic Stadium. This shows that the team has a loyal and large fan base that will continue to support the club in the future.
