Marteria delights 15,000 fans with a surprise concert on the beach

What a spectacle on the Baltic Sea beach in Warnemünde! On August 29, 2025, the Rostock-born rapper Marteria, whose real name is Marten Laciny, invited his fans to a very special, free anniversary concert in the Strandarena. The event, which celebrated the 15th album anniversary of “Zum Glück in die Zukunft”, was spontaneously announced via Instagram and attracted over 15,000 enthusiastic visitors who wanted to make the evening unforgettable. According to that Northern Courier The show started an hour late and surprised fans with hits like “Endboss” and “Marteria Girl”.

Organizing the concert was a challenge: the Rostock & Warnemünde Tourist Office, the Wal-Bar and Marteria itself had put everything together in just four weeks. To avoid an uncontrolled rush, the event remained secret until announced. “It was important to us to hold the event safely and without incident,” explained Christoph Krause, managing director of the Wal-Strandbar. However, the fans were patient and the concert went smoothly, reports also World.

An anniversary and a new era

During the concert, Marteria announced exciting news: his new album “Zum Glück in die Zukunft 3” will be released next Monday. Fans can already expect the first single, which will be released next week. To celebrate the occasion, the number three was displayed in brilliant light on the facade of the Hotel Neptun. “This concert was a gift to my hometown,” said the rapper, who was also a successful model and formerly a soccer player for Hansa Rostock.

The evening was a complete success, and not just musically. On Sunday, the day after the concert, a “Beach Clean Up” was organized to clean up the beach and thank the helpers with free drinks and live music. The beach area should be completely cleared by September 12th, according to information from NDR.

A unique experience

Anyone who wanted to attend the event had to be prepared for traffic restrictions in Warnemünde. Since 3 p.m. there was a ban on parking on both sides of Seestrasse and it was recommended not to travel by car. The S-Bahn ran every half hour until 12:30 a.m. so that all fans could get home safely.

In just a few hours, the concert announcement received over 26,500 likes and a lot of positive feedback. Marteria has once again managed to touch the hearts of his fans and at the same time send a strong signal of his connection to Rostock. Anyone who is now raving about it can be happy – the next tour with new songs could be coming soon! We can only hope that the next campaign will be as spectacular as this one.
