SPIELidee 2025: Experience the largest gaming fair in Rostock!
An exciting event is just around the corner in Rostock! From November 7th to 9th, 2025, the HanseMesse will open its doors to the popular GAME idea 2025. This experiential trade fair attracts gaming fans, creative minds and model building enthusiasts in droves. After a record number of visitors of around 21,400 last year, a large audience is expected this time too.
What can visitors expect? A real flight of attractions! This year's highlight is thisPuzzle Championshipfrom Schmidt Spiele, which brings together the best puzzlers in Germany. There is a fight for the title of “Fastest Puzzle City in Germany”, and even the smallest artists can take partDaycare Puzzle Challengein which five kindergarten groups will take part. If you can't get excited about it, it's your own fault!
Variety of offers
This fair has something to offer for everyone. Over 100 exhibitors present everything from board games and model building attractions on an area of 10,600 m². The GAME idea also includes electronic board games and educational games, toys, creative materials and impressive model buildings. In the special sectionMODEL IDEAyou can discover the latest trends in the model building and model railway world. There are also exciting attractions such as model car races and truck and excavator courses.
In addition, the creative visitors will be treated to a **Christmas baking workshop** under the guidance of Anje Fiedler. If you would like to combine baking with a small competition, you canBaking fun on the traytake part on November 7th. You have to bring 10 pieces of 5 × 5 cm with you, and the best recipe will be rewarded with two tickets for the show “HOLIDAY ON ICE – CINEMA OF DREAMS”.

A special focus is on the family: the entry prices are family-friendly. Children and young people up to 14 years old pay just EUR 7, while a day ticket for adults costs EUR 11. For the really brave, there are even discounts for the 2-day ticket and family tickets, which are all very attractive.
The event's managing director, Oliver Fudickar, highlights the importance of playing together and encourages all creative people to experience the fun and joy of creativity. “Playing together and trying out creativity – that’s the focus of the SPIEL idea,” says Fudickar.
