The 17-year-old Speedway driver from Parchim recently won the FIM Women’s Gold Trophy in Croatia and thus secured the title of the fastest Speedway driver in the world. With an impressive final inlet, in which she left the reigning championess Celina Liebmann behind, she triumphed at the largest all-female Speedway event worldwide, which took place in Donji Kraljevec. On the four-wheelers, 13 drivers in the 500cc class were at the start, which caused a lot of excitement. With her victory, Grunwald now has the opportunity to take part in the Olybet Fim Speedway GP in Latvia on August 2. Her goals are ambitious: she wants to drive in the Polish or English league and further improve her skills. "I would like to help create more attention for women in German motorsport," she says. After all, it is the case that women often have to fight twice as hard to be recognized.

From September 1st, Hannah will start training as an industrial clerk, but the passion for motorsport remains unbroken. "I will try everything to get both under one roof," she says.
