Schwerin, Deutschland - An exciting weekend delivered the 15th Petermännchen-Cup, which took place on July 14, 2025 in the Lankow sports park in Schwerin. Over 56 youth teams from northern Germany and Berlin showed their skills in exciting games, even though the weather had challenges. Among the participating children were the age groups of 8 to 14 years old, and the enthusiasm of the young athletes could not be broken even with drizzle. A special focus was on Henrik Kammerer, a talented player of the SSC, who was characterized by his outstanding game. The U8 team, on the other hand, was less lucky, who lost 1-2 in the final against Marienthaler THC from Hamburg in penalty shooting. The U12 and U14 of the SSC, on the other hand, trumped up and each won their winning cup. Coach Maik Hohlmeier proudly reported that the teams in five games only conceded one goal.
