The 15th Petermännchen Cup, which took place on July 14, 2025 at the Lankow Sportpark in Schwerin, delivered an exciting weekend. Over 56 youth teams from northern Germany and Berlin showed their skills in exciting games, even though the weather posed challenges. The children taking part ranged from 8 to 14 years old, and the enthusiasm of the young athletes was unstoppable even in the drizzle. Particular attention was paid to Henrik Kammerer, a talented SSC player who stood out for his outstanding game. The U12 and U14 of the SSC, on the other hand, made a big impression and each won their winner's cup. Coach Maik Hohlmeier proudly reported that the teams only conceded one goal in five games.

The history of the Petermännchen Cup goes back to 2014, when Schweriner SC launched the tournament with great attention to detail.
