SSC Palmberg Schwerin celebrates 3-0 in the DVV Cup round of 16!

On November 9th, 2025, the volleyball team SSC Palmberg Schwerin played in the DVV Cup round of 16 against TV Planegg-Krailling. In the Planegg sports hall, the players showed a strong performance and won the match 3-0. With this victory, the SSC moves into the round of the best eight clubs.

The game initially started quite evenly. The SSC quickly took the lead with 6:12. But Planegg couldn't be completely shaken off and got up to 16:17 before the set ended 25:19 for Schwerin. The team from Schwerin dominated clearly in the second set. A decisive series of serves from Mia Kirchhoff ensured a comfortable 12:6 lead, which led to a clear set win of 25:15.

Tension in the third movement

However, the third set started surprisingly: Planegg pulled ahead 6:2 and even led 15:11 over the course of the set. However, Schwerin showed fighting spirit and reduced the deficit to 22:20. In an exciting finish, the Schwerin women finally decided the set in their favor with 25:23. After the game, coach Felix Koslowski expressed satisfaction with his team's performance and emphasized their commitment.

The starting six of SSC Palmberg Schwerin consisted of Reesink, Jaksetic, Vos, Kok, Kirchhoff, van Clewe and Gerritsen, while the TV Planegg-Krailling started the race with Ziegler, Kraft, Huber, Schön, Kroll, Kettenbach and Raß. The Planegg team, which was promoted from the second division, was not discouraged by the defeat and will continue to try to learn from this experience.
