In the heart of Schwerin there is currently a lot going on in the field of pole vaulting. The SSC Schwerin team is fully committed to achieving top sporting performance and has achieved impressive successes at the German Championships. Gillian Ladwig was able to win gold, while Lany Jane Saguan was able to show off a bronze medal at the U15 DM - a remarkable performance after only a short training period. But the team faces a major challenge: The equipment is very outdated and many of the poles are over 40 years old and show signs of damage. It is urgently time to purchase new pole vault poles that meet modern safety and performance standards.
In order to offer the athletes fair conditions, the club is now turning to the public and calling for donations. These are urgently needed to finance the new staff. Those responsible agree: “Because every cent counts!”, and that is why there is a donation account that is as follows: SSC Schwerin e.V. – Athletics Department, IBAN: DE45 1405 2000 0396 0866 32. If you would like a donation receipt, you should also include the address in the intended purpose.
