HSV Torgelow: Disappointing defeats for women and men!
In the district league, the teams from the Torgelow handball sports club (HSV) sent their fans home with hanging heads today. Both the women's and men's teams suffered defeats and remained without points Northern Courier reported.
The women's team fought bravely against Stavenhagener SV II, but ultimately could not win. After an exciting game, the game ended 23:26. Even though the Torgelow team led by three goals several times in the first half, their opponents proved to be stubborn. The women's coach Benjamin Schultz recognized the superiority of the Stavenhagen team and found the guests' victory justified.
Defeat of men
The men had to accept a 26:36 defeat against HC Vorpommern Greifswald III. The Torgelow team led until the 16th minute and started the game with a strong three-goal lead. But the reigning champions came back before the break and turned the game around, which ultimately cost the Torgelowers the advantage. Coach Connor Tramp nevertheless praised the fighting spirit of his players. The men's goal scorers were Bresina (5), Meißner (5) and Mar. Schröder (7), to name just a few.
