Alcohol at the wheel: Two drivers caught - high fines threaten!

On Friday evening, June 6, 2025, there was a mysterious incident in the parking lot of the toom and e-center in Zeven: a parked car was damaged, possibly through a shopping cart. Eyewitnesses reported on men in work clothes who were near a work vehicle. The police are urgently looking for information on this incident.

But the most exciting news comes from the A1 motorway at Sottrum! A drunk 55-year-old raced with his Ford Galaxy at 2.32 per thousand into the center protection schedule and caused a spectacular crash, in which he collided with the VW of a 27-year-old and then with a tractor. Slight injuries occurred in the person who caused the accident, while the total damage is estimated at enormous 30,000 euros. His driver's license has been drawn in and criminal proceedings have already been initiated.

Also last night, the police in the Rotenburg area caught two other alcohol offices. A 62-year-old had 0.88 per thousand and a 58-year-old who was stopped during the night when driving, showed 0.85 per thousand. Both have to count on high fines and driving bans. An urgent appeal from the police: If you drink, you stay away from the wheel better!
