SV Armstorf is starting what could be its last Bundesliga season!

On Thursday evening, October 29, 2025, SV Armstorf starts the new Bundesliga season with a home game, which could possibly be the last for the established team. The team has been playing continuously with its current line-up for 15 years and has made a name for itself nationwide in fistball in recent years. They played their first Bundesliga game ten years ago and are now facing a crucial phase in their sporting careers.

There are currently considerations to change the league, as an application to start in a lower league has already been rejected. This happened due to the lack of young talent and the high average age of the players, which is over 30 years old. Nevertheless, the team has decided to continue taking on the challenge of the Bundesliga and give it their all. The team captain Tobias Buck emphasized that they will complete the main round and the team started preparations at the beginning of September.

Season opener and home games

During the upcoming season, SV Armstorf will play a total of four home and four away games. The first challenge is against SV Moslesfehn, against whom they already failed in the quarter-finals of the last tournament. Up to 400 spectators get excited at home games and create an impressive atmosphere, while the home game starts on Thursday at 8 p.m.
