Successes at the rescue sports championships
In the world of rescue sports, there have been some impressive successes lately. The DLRG Halle-Saalekreis recently secured the title of the German champion in life swimming. Lena Oppermann, one of the outstanding athletes, achieved a clear victory with her score of 2,875 points in the youth classification (17/18 years) and achieved 83 points ahead of the second place. Not to forget Gina Zech, who with her bronze medal in the same category caused another pleasant message.
In addition, Elias Neubert was also able to get bronze in the junior ranking, although he could not defend his title. Another highlight was the use of Oppermann and Neubert at the Junior World Championships in Italy, where they were able to win silver and bronze medals with their relay teams in Hanover. The DLRG Halle Saalekreis can look forward to the best placements in several categories and defended the title from 2021-seven-time title winners with flying colors, six times in a row!
