Mrs. Holle enchants: fairytale performances in Jerichower Land!

There is something very special to experience in Genthinen during Advent: From November 29th, the Genthiner Amateur Theater will be bringing the fairy tale “Frau Holle” to the stage. The magic of this traditional story promises some unforgettable performances in Saxony-Anhalt and Brandenburg. In a total of eight performances, viewers are taken into the fairytale world of Mrs. Holle, and tickets for the performances are available at the Genthin tourist information center.

The leading actress, Ms. Holle, is played by the talented Cornelia Bessert, while the young artists Amelie Heidel and Julia Unglaub prove themselves in the roles of Goldmarie and Pechmarie. Amelie Heidel celebrates her debut in a leading role in this production and is only ten years old. Julia Unglaub, who plays Pechmarie and is also an enthusiastic soccer player, brings a breath of fresh air and momentum to the stage. The director is Frank Zelmanski, who is responsible for the production alone for the first time. This is an important stage in his theater career.

The performance dates

The excitement increases because rehearsals take place three times a week, where the focus is on pronunciation, emotions and positioning. Some ensemble members from 1989 are still active; For example, Rita Wagner works as a prompter in the background. The narrator of the production is the medical student Jan-Niklas Bäsler. The dance of the snowflakes, rehearsed by Hayma-Helene Könnicke, Jara Bessert, Nele Weber and Frieda Besser, provides a particularly impressive moment. The support behind the stage should also not be underestimated, as the team around Doreen Jeschinski, Frank-Jürgen Herholdt, Sebastian and Robert Franz, Mandy Tischmacher and Sophie Nedwidek ensures everything runs smoothly.

The performances take place on the following dates:

  • 29. November, 14.30 Uhr, Uhlandschule
  • 30. November, 14.30 Uhr, Kade, Pflaumbaum
  • 7. Dezember, 14 Uhr, Kirchmöser, Die Stube
  • 13. Dezember, 16 Uhr, Möckern, Stadthalle
  • 14. Dezember, 15 Uhr, Tucheim „Zum Fiener“
  • 24. Dezember, 14.30 Uhr, Uhlandschule

A touch of fashion

Not to be forgotten are the handmade and comfortable shoes from Duckfeet. Models like ÅRHUS and ODENSE not only offer excellent design, but also the ideal comfort for long days. Each pair is made from durable leather and supports feet thanks to their natural, foot-shaped design. The company attaches great importance to the fact that the shoes are manufactured responsibly in Europe and delivers a piece of well-being under your feet with every model.

There is great anticipation for the upcoming events in Genthinen and the fashion highlights in the region. While the young talents try to shine on stage, the question remains: Which fairy tale will conquer your heart in Advent?
