The incident led to the fire department being alerted because the snake did not want to be lured out of its hiding place so easily. The good news: There was no danger from the snake found because it was a non-venomous snake. Photos of the snake showed round pupils, which is typical of adders. There are a total of 15 different species of snakes in Croatia, but only two of them have poisonous potential.
