This award has been presented by the Allianz pro Schiene e.V. since 2004 and honors train stations that not only act as transport hubs, but also significantly improve the quality of stay and connecting mobility for travelers.
The main train station in Magdeburg has undergone extensive renovation over the last ten years, which is now paying off. Thanks to new entrances, accessibility to trams and buses has been greatly improved.
