An exciting year for the Berlin music scene is coming! Today, onOctober 27, 2025, the LISTEN TO BERLIN: AWARDS are celebrating their 10th anniversary. The Berlin Music Commission is once again looking for the best song by a Berlin act and invites all music fans to take part in the vote. This runs untilNovember 6, 2025, and the stage will be onNovember 11, 2025opened in the Kesselhaus of the Kulturbrauerei, where the winners will be announced. The awards already promise to offer interesting insights into the creative diversity of the capital. FluxFM reports that a raffle for participants in the voting is also planned at the awards ceremony!
The LISTEN TO BERLIN: AWARDS have now become an integral part of the Berlin music landscape. Since 2015, the Berlin Music Commission has been honoring creative achievements that shape the city's vibrant musical life. Olaf Kretschmar, Managing Director of the BMC, emphasizes the importance of these awards, especially in times when the current budget debate is endangering the financing of LISTEN TO BERLIN. “The awards are important for visibility and participation in the music industry,” says Kretschmar.
