Bautzen, Deutschland - The preparations of Budissa Bautzen for the upcoming season are in full swing. On August 1st, the time has finally come and the team wants to be prepared for the challenges of the league. The goals scored Felix Hennig, Oscar Haustein, Julien Hentsch, Jannik Käppler and Karl-Ludwig Zech, while Kevin Groth was responsible for the two goals of the DSC. Head coach Steve Dieske was very satisfied with the performance of his team after the game and particularly emphasized the header goals that were crucial for success.
The Dresdner SC competed with a young troop that consisted of seven 19-year-old. Trainer Andre Heinisch found that his team lacked the necessary physicality in order to convincingly against the experienced Bautzeners. This aspect is certainly discussed in the next training sessions to increase the performance of the young talents.
new additions and restructuring
Another important step in preparing for the new season was Maurice Gabriel, a 17-year-old goalkeeper who was previously active at SV Pattonville. Gabriel, who has gone through football training at Halleschen FC and Borea Dresden, will strengthen the goalkeeper position at Budissa Bautzen behind the experienced trio from Yannik Hartmann and Max Hübner. There is also a change in the coaching staff: Johnny Nestler will take responsibility as a new goalkeeper coach and replaces Maik Ebersbach.
The squad planning at Budissa Bautzen still shows room for improvement, while the Bischofswerdaer FV is also busy with its squad composition. Four goalkeepers and 21 field players are currently under contract with the BFV, with an average age of 22 years. Among these players, Martin Sobe is the oldest at the age of 29, while eleven players are 20 years or younger. The association has already recorded six departures during the transfer period, but also eight new obligations. In addition, playing in the Sachsen Cup against SG Weixdorf is played, and a success in this encounter could have a clash with the BSC Freiberg.
How the situation in the region will develop remains to be seen. Budissa Bautzen is well positioned with all of these changes and the fans can hope for exciting games in the coming season.
