Nadine Poser fights alone in the dark at the Heavy24 MTB race!

In the sporting world of Sachsenburg, Nadine Poser is preparing for an exciting adventure. The 19th Heavy24, one of the largest 24-hour mountain bike races in Germany, will start on June 19, 2025 and will go into the next round. Nadine, the strong individual rider, has decided to compete in the race without a team and is faced with a mixture of anticipation and nervousness. Her biggest challenge: the night with all its darkness and tiredness.

Her family is completely behind her, while her husband Daniel supports her with technology and the process. A good friend took responsibility for motivation and food. “Life here is a positive chaos,” says Nadine’s family, describing the preparations, which are often combined with short vacations for the competitions. During her nutritional tactics, Nadine relies on a perfect pit stop: fruits, chocolate, gummy bears and a good cup of coffee are a must.

The event and its meaning

As mtb-chemnitz.de reports, the Heavy24 attracts over 1,000 riders and thousands of visitors to the Rabenstein reservoir every year. The event, which was launched in 2007, has quickly become a highlight in the calendar for both professional and amateur cyclists. Organized by “Die Rennmacher”, the focus is not only on sporting activity, but also on sustainability and creative actions that surround the event.

The Heavy24 offers an excellent opportunity for endurance testing as well as family time and is scheduled to last a total of five days. This creates an exciting atmosphere that attracts cycling enthusiasts from different regions. In addition, BLICK.de will report live about Nadine's adventure, which increases the excitement for all mountain biking fans.

Nadine's racing history and future outlook

Nadine, who has been active in the competition scene since 2018, started her career at the MTB marathon in Dresden. Her career has not only inspired her sons, who also ride for RSV Erzgebirge, but also creates a family community around cycling. Although she hasn't given any concrete thought to the final hours of the race, she is optimistic. The thrill and passion reflect in her attitude and she is ready to give it her all to have a fulfilling race.
