Dynamo Dresden: Andi Hoti changes quickly – Paul Lehmann on loan!
Planning at Dynamo Dresden for the upcoming 2025 second division season is in full swing. How tipico.de reports, Andi Hoti's move from 1. FC Magdeburg is about to be completed. The talented player, who was already on loan to SGD in the second half of the season and attracted attention there with his strong performances, will be signed for a transfer fee of around 350,000 euros. Coach Thomas Stamm, who trained Hoti at SC Freiburg II, is happy about the 22-year-old's return.
While there is a lot of movement in the Dynamo squad, there are also departures. Paul Lehmann, a 20-year-old homegrown player, is temporarily moving to SC Verl in the 3rd league on loan. Lehmann, who was only able to play one minute in the third division last season due to back problems, has decided to fight his way back through regular appearances. He can be used flexibly and can play both in central defense and as a right-back.
A new squad for the second division
Dynamo Dresden has prepared well for its return to the 2nd Bundesliga. With 19 players already under contract for the coming season, including well-known players such as Tim Schreiber, Niklas Hauptmann and Vinko Sapina, the club shows ambitions not only to present itself as a promoted team, but also to fight to stay in the league. Captain Stefan Kutschke and Jakob Lemmer should also remain part of the squad, although confirmation is still pending.
The situation surrounding Christoph Daferner also remains an open chapter. The loan is ending, but Dynamo have already made an offer to buy him as he has expressed his desire to stay at SGD. At the same time, the future of other players such as Jonas Sterner and Mika Baur, who are both on loan, remains uncertain. The aim is to bring in further reinforcements, particularly in defense and midfield.
Looking into the future
The return to the 2nd Bundesliga is an important step for Dynamo, which also makes coach Thomas Stamm confident. He will remain in office next season and has formulated clear goals. Assistant coach Heiko Scholz even dreams of being promoted to the Bundesliga within the next three to four years. Historically, Dynamo was last represented in the top German league between 1991 and 1995.
Fortunately, the license for the 2nd Bundesliga was granted without conditions. However, there is still minor work on the stadium that must be completed by July 16th. The media technology infrastructure in particular should be modernized in order to meet growing requirements.
The fans can be excited to see what the coming season will bring. A strong team with a lot of potential and the absolute will to assert themselves in German football could help the club to successfully start the new era.
