And a further increase of 3.5% is planned for the following year in order to keep salaries stable in competition. The terms for these tariff increases are set at 12 and 11 months.
Particular attention is paid to supporting trainees and dual students, who will also benefit from the improvements: from April 2025, they will receive a monthly increase of 95 euros, followed by a further increase of 75 euros the following year. Young talent is a top priority at Sachsen-Energie.
Further improvements for employees
But that's not all - the conditions for shift workers have also been improved. Night surcharges have increased and there is now a collectively guaranteed right to convert wages into free time. This shows that Sachsen-Energie strives to optimize not only the financial side, but also the work-life balance of its employees. In addition, the number of days off for unionized employees was increased from two to three days. Alternatively, 350 euros per unused day can be claimed as compensation.
Negotiator Frank Franke said: “The wage increase hurts, but the member performance is satisfactory.” In addition, a declaration deadline of May 30, 2025 was agreed upon, during which the ver.di members should vote on the result.
