Burglary in Zeithain: Perpetrators steal documents from the warehouse!
Things have been anything but quiet in Zeithain recently. On October 27th there was a break-in in a warehouse on Teninger Strasse that kept the police on their toes. Unknown perpetrators broke in between 4:00 p.m. and 6:15 a.m. the next morning, prying open several doors on work machines and stealing documents. In order to get onto the company premises and into the hall, the burglars also overcame several fences, which underlines the audacity of their approach. The police have started an investigation and are looking for witnesses who can provide information about the incident. DieSachsen reports.
But the police are not only required in Zeithain. A series of arson incidents is also causing unrest in Großenhain. On the night of August 17th, pyrotechnics were set off in several places and vehicles, garbage cans and mailboxes were damaged. The crimes took place on Käthe-Kollwitz-Strasse as well as on Martin-Scheumann- and Weßnitzer Strasse. The police are asking for help and are appealing to the public: Anyone who has seen anything should call (0351) 483 22 33.
Traffic offenses and damage cases
On October 28th there was also an incident in Thiendorf that left a 56-year-old driver in trouble. His temporary joy of driving ended abruptly when the police prohibited him from continuing to drive his Mercedes Vito because the registration had already expired. The plate was advertised for de-stamping and necessary measures were taken to prevent further misdeeds.
On the same day, but already in the morning, a rear-end collision occurred in Zeithain, the Röderau-Bobersen district. A 21-year-old driver of a Ford Focus crashed into a Citroen Berlingo with a 61-year-old lady behind the wheel. Fortunately, the material damage remained at around 3,000 euros - no one was injured. The police have also started investigations into the cause of the accident.
