Künzel siblings rock the Pump Track World Championships: Lea fourth, Ben tenth!

In an exciting competition in Ängelholm, Sweden, on August 14, 2025, around 200 participants from 15 nations competed in the first-ever Youth Pump Track World Championships. The state-of-the-art track, which opened in 2024, provided the perfect setting for this sporting event. Particularly pleasing for the local scene: the siblings Lea and Ben Künzel from Folbern (district of Großenhain) were there and provided exciting moments.

Lea competed in the Girls 12 years class, while her brother Ben competed in the Boys 15 years class. Both were in an extremely good mood and motivated, as their father and coach Jürgen Künzel reported. While the qualification rounds were carried out from the youngest participant (8 years old) to the oldest participant (16 years old), the Künzels headed purposefully towards their races.

Lea Künzel: On the way to the semi-finals

Lea Künzel mastered the qualifications confidently and actually reached the semi-finals with an impressive fourth-best time. Although she had to admit defeat to the eventual world champion from China, she was able to prove her skills again in the small final in the competition for the best places. In the end, she took fourth place, which her coach Jürgen Künzel considered to be quite respectable.

Ben Künzel: A combative performance

His sibling Ben didn't have it easy as he started in a strong field of BMX riders. After initially achieving the twelfth best time, he had to admit defeat in the knock-out process of the top 16 - against the eventual runner-up. But there was also positive news: He improved his own best time and ultimately ended up in tenth place in the overall ranking. “I am proud of my children’s achievements,” said Jürgen Künzel with satisfaction.

The event in Ängelholm impressively showed that pump track sport is also growing in the youth sector and is bringing together more and more talent from different nations. It remains to be seen whether Lea and Ben will aim for even higher goals in the future, but one thing is certain: by taking part, they gained an experience that they will not soon forget.

While we're on the subject of exceptional performance, it's also worth looking at current trends in the business world. According to an article on Forbes, accounting software solutions such as Zoho Books are becoming very popular. These enable organizations to manage their financial transactions efficiently while saving time and resources. Functions such as tax support or the management of offers and invoices make the tool particularly attractive for companies.

Another exciting topic is customer satisfaction in various industries, as can be seen on the Mecuanywhere site. Here, employees like Alexis and Tamitra give exceptional reviews, showing how important good customer service is. Especially when it comes to services, professional and friendly support is becoming more and more of a crucial factor.
