Porcelain, paper and more: exhibition in the Heavenly studio in Meißen!
The "Heavenly" studio in the Görnian alley in Meißen will soon be the scene of an exciting exhibition, which presents the manual skills of young porcelain painters. The vernissage will open on July 26th at 3 p.m. under the title "Porcelain, paper and anything else", which can be visited by August 30th. The exhibits that show the creative diversity of the artisans can be seen on Thursdays until Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The 24-year-old Christin Neelsen opens the show with a very special exhibit: a decorated women's sneaker who inspires with embroidery and innovative essays. Christin, who was freshly moved from Schleswig-Holstein to Meißen, has learned from the renowned porcelain manufacturer through her grandma. Her training path was long - with an internship, the application, a new apartment and three and a half years of training - but she feels this time as enriching and demanding, in contrast to the former seven -year training model.
a community of artists
Christin is supported by the twins Corinna and Alessa Granzow, who also discovered their passion for porcelain painting. Corinna specializes in Indian painting, while Alessa unfolds her talent as a flower painter. Together they live in a flat share in Meißen, which promotes creative exchange and development of your individual styles.
The creative power of the young artists is shown in their diverse approach. Christin Neelsen particularly likes to work with natural materials and, for example, staged insect bodies in their exhibits. In addition, she and her fellow campaigners created portraits in various styles of well -known artists who illustrate the range of their skills.
tradition and innovation combined
The traditional MEISSEN manufacturer, which is already over 300 years old, manages to link modern design with historical values. This wide range ensures that numerous talents are promoted and the art of porcelain painting lives on. In particular, the manufacturers such as Christin Neelsen, bring precision, patience and great skill into their craft. Career at Meissen offers the relevant information on these training paths.
