Things are looking up again in Döbeln: The city council has decided to acquire the dilapidated property at Leipziger Straße 110, once housed in the former “Stadt Döbeln” hotel. A notary appointment is already imminent to complete the official purchase and determine the further schedule.

But that is not the only project in Döbeln: The city council has also decided to sell a municipal property on Riesaer Straße. There will be dentist Dr. Julian Brückner is building a new practice building. The project, which is scheduled to start in 2026, will initially include seven treatment rooms with a later expansion to nine. The purchase price of 81,070 euros is based on the land value and will not only improve dental care, but also secure 14 jobs.
