On the last weekend in June, the tenth year is pending for the village festival in Erlau! From June 27th to 29th, the square next to the fire station will be transformed back into a lively festival area. The initiative for Erlau e.V. has worked with a lot of passion at the organization since 2009 and invites all generations to participate in the celebrations. On Friday, the village festival is officially opened with the traditional festival beer tapping by Mayor Peter Ahnert. This evening is rounded off by the appearance of the Milkauer Schalmien, which will delight the guests with their sounds. It promises to be a good start to a varied weekend.

Saturday is all about the children. Organized by Horter teacher Jessica Adam, the little ones can look forward to a great children's festival. But not only the youngest get their money's worth. There is a lot of tension for bird shooting for adults, and the mug-mug stenmen will certainly cause many laughs. The evening then belongs to the dance pleasure with a fire show at 11 p.m., which will dive the festival area in a magical atmosphere.

Sunday begins with a festive tent service, followed by a hearty lunch that is prepared by the volunteer fire brigade with a delicious goulash cannon. A highlight that many visitors are already excited about is the catering by the Pählke party service from Tanneberg on the first two festive days that knows how to spice up the culinary offer.
