The outdoor pool, which is going back in operation for the first time since 2019, not only scores with historical roots that go back to the 19th century. After extensive renovation work and the construction of an indoor pool that went into operation in March 2023, the Elberitzbad now shines in new splendor. The innovations in the outdoor pool are really impressive! The swimmers get their money's worth, because the pool has five 50-meter tracks, three 25-meter tracks and eight starting blocks-ideal for sporting challenges and activities. For the brave there is both a three-meter and a one-meter jumping tower.

The area for non -swimmers has been reduced to around 500 square meters and now offers enough space to splash around and relax. There is also a new paddling pool for the little ones, which is equipped with a mini slide and a water feature. Anyone who likes slides will look forward to the new Breit slide, which replaces the old sluggish slide. All pools are made of hygienic stainless steel to avoid frost and voltage damage.

The outdoor area - fun for the family

But the Elberitzbad has more to offer! A spacious outdoor area with lying areas, a playground and a beach volleyball field ensures that families can feel completely comfortable here. By the way, arrival problems are not to be expected: hundreds of bicycle parking spaces and 30 free parking spaces for cars are in the immediate vicinity of the bath.

The opening times of the outdoor pool are particularly family -friendly: it is open every day from mid -May to mid -September. During the summer vacation, the bathers can splash around between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Outside of the holidays, staggered opening times apply that are adapted to the needs of visitors.

The admission prices are very moderate for an outdoor pool of this type. Adults pay 5.50 euros, while discounts are offered for young people and seniors. There is also a family ticket that is particularly attractive for families. Cashless payment will be possible again from May 17, 2025, which contributes to the comfortable visit.

For the opening of the Elberitzbad, a summer festival is also planned at the end of July 2025, in which the entire facility is duly celebrated. The exact date will be announced promptly. A free shuttle service to other outdoor pools in the area, which was offered in 2020 during the closure, ensures that all leisure lovers are well cared for.
