Mügeln, Deutschland - in the picturesque Mügeln it is currently high - and not only because of the sambat dance life in the home club. There the Bodo stork couple from Lake Constance and his partner Mogelina cause excitement. The two -year -old Bodo, who ran around 600 kilometers ago, has sold the long -time partner of Mogelina during the mating season and now shows himself as a proud horsted owner. But the happiness of the two storks, which nested in a nesting at 36 meters, is unfortunately drawn by some worry lines.

In spring, Mogelina laid four eggs from which two young storks could ultimately hatch. When promoting Antonio (X929T) and Hannah (K928L), it turned out that two chicks had been weak and had to be thrown out of the nest. Bernd Holfter, who made a ranking with a turntable ladder from the Oschatz volunteer fire brigade, noticed that the surviving chicks were significantly smaller and less agile than their relatives in Maltkwitz. The fire brigade actively helped when the young animals had to be taken from the 30 meter high nest, which luckily succeeded without complications.
