Fire brigade saves young storks: Oschatz fire brigade in animal rescue use!

Mügeln, Deutschland - On Monday, the Oschatz fire brigade was tireless, but not as usual to combat a fire. Instead, the men and women in their orange uniforms moved out twice for Mügeln to free young storks from predicament. Strong wind made the young storks' first attempt to fly. Local residents noticed the needs of the feathered friends and informed the volunteer stork coat-coaster Hans-Jürgen Höhne, who was immediately on hand. He found the first young stork on the roof of the Varia site and was able to successfully capture the animal.

But the adventure was not over yet. While Höhne was on the way back to the nest with the stork, he was discovered by photographer Sven Bartsch, who spotted another young stork on Goethestrasse. This too was certainly captured and brought back to his family with the aerial ladder. After the exciting moments, both young storks were able to return to their nest, where they were promptly fed with tasty earthworms. The use, which seemed almost like an episode from an animal film, brought not only the storks, but also the residents to smile.

The Mügeler storks make a name for themselves this year. They have been the focus of the public, especially in the past few weeks. Of four chicks who saw the light of day this year, only two survived. However, these two make progress and have already increased in weight. In the past, the stork family has already made headlines when a younger stork distributed a rival from the nest.

The young animals who were given the name Hanna and Antonio - awarded by the youth fire brigade through "Schnick, Schnack, Schnuck" - play a central role in the local commitment for the white stork. The two small storks not only wear silver rings with a unique letter-digit combination, but also a yellow readering so that they can be identified from a distance. This contributes to monitoring and protecting your population, which is of great importance, especially in a year, which has already been opposed to many challenges. Her parents, the Storch Bodo and his partner, who comes from the region, take care of their offspring.
