Mild weather change in Saxony: sun and temperatures up to 17 degrees!

On November 4th, 2025, autumn in Saxony will show its mild side. The rain has retreated and given way to sunny weather. Today we can expect cool temperatures between 12 and 16 degrees, while in the higher altitudes, such as the Ore Mountains, there will be a slightly cooler 8 to 12 degrees. A fresh southwesterly wind ensures that the Atlantic has an influence on our weather, resulting in mild temperatures, it is reported Sächsische.de.

Yesterday, Sunday, started off rather cloudy with isolated showers and temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees. But even the weather is on the up! Reformation Day, October 31st, was blessed with lots of sunshine and temperatures of up to 15 degrees. The weekend also brought us a few record-breaking late autumn days with temperatures up to 18 degrees.

Overview of the weather forecasts

For today, November 4th, there is loud DWD no warning-relevant weather phenomena. While we can look forward to even more sunshine and temperatures between 14 and 16 degrees tomorrow, we should expect the weather to stabilize further on Thursday with the influence of high pressure. The weather trend shows some cooling down in the nights, where it can cool down to 1 degree in valley areas. But it won't be frosty everywhere, a bit of moisture in the form of fog could set in on Friday.

The weather was particularly warning last week, when storm warnings were issued on Fichtelberg and Brocken and gusts of up to 100 km/h swept over the hills. Fortunately, there was no major damage in the region, apart from a few fallen trees in Leipzig. The Fichtelberg suspension railway had to temporarily stop operating due to the storm.
