On the first weekend in November, the 13th Creative Market took place in the Sparkasse Arena Zwickau and it started with a colorful mix of crafts, art and cuisine! The event attracted numerous visitors and has become an integral part of the local events calendar. Around 123 retailers set up their stands and delighted guests with their products. From designer jewelry to handmade decorations to delicious treats – there was something for everyone here. Blick reports that the market was a veritable treasure trove of Christmas gifts and could therefore appeal to every taste.
Did you know that the creative market took place outside of Advent for the first time this year? Market manager Andy Hill was pleased with the positive feedback and was able to record an increase in visitors compared to previous years. The event particularly stood out with the motto “Everything but ordinary,” which celebrates creative ideas and unique items. The Creative markets website highlights that there were also materials to make your own, which stimulated the creativity of the visitors.
A full program for everyone
The event was a hit not only for creative minds, but also for connoisseurs! The variety of products on offer ranged from art and design to culinary delicacies. Cornelia Schreiter from Stoffhase even described the market as the best event in Zwickau. A real highlight that guarantees you a good hand for gifts!
Another reason for the high number of visitors was the well thought-out concept: Anyone who attended the event on Saturday received a stamp on their wrist and could come along for free on Sunday. So there was enough time to look at all the beautiful things and shop in peace.
A great success for the region
The positive response and great interest in this event show once again how important and popular the creative markets in Zwickau are. The organizers and retailers are already looking forward to the next edition and to once again offering visitors a colorful, inspiring experience. A marketplace that has potential and where creativity is very popular - there is something to be desired for the future!
