What a comeback! The striker of the regional football league team FSV Zwickau, Marc-Philipp Zimmermann, is in impressive form after his return from vacation. In the last test match against SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz he scored the decisive winning goal. FSV Zwickau secured a 1-0 win and had the fans cheering. The game took place on Wednesday evening in the Stangendorf district of Mülsen, and Zimmermann returned to the field impressively. He only returned to the team at the beginning of the week and immediately demonstrated his skills, reports the Freie Presse.
But that wasn't all! In the previous test match against SV Naunhof, the Zwickau team provided a real football feast. With an incredible 9-0 win against the team from the Sachsenklasse Nord, the seventh division, they made a statement for the upcoming season. The Zwickau team was already leading 6-0 at halftime - a result that underlined the team's dominance. Nick Breiten Bücher, a new signing, opened the scoring in the 8th minute, followed by further magnificent goals, which Zimmermann scored a total of four times, as recorded on the official website of FSV Zwickau.
Flood of goals and young talents
Zimmermann's scoring spree continued in the second half. The other goal scorers included Eixler and Pilger. The spectators, who numbered 342 fans in Stangendorf, experienced real fireworks. Some young talents were also used: U19 players Til Halata, Julien Danz and Phil Suske were able to show what they could do in the final minutes. The next challenge for Zwickau is the next day when they meet SV 1861 Kirchberg.
With these impressive performances in the test games, FSV Zwickau is preparing for the coming season in the regional league.
