Man handcuffs himself to the heater in Erfurt!
A strange emergency kept the police in Erfurt in suspense on Friday evening. According to reports from MDR A 22-year-old man was alerted because he had handcuffed himself to a radiator. The situation was anything but usual because the young man was unable to free himself - he had lost the key while moving.
The somewhat desperate man had only seen one way out and threw his apartment key out of the window to the police officers who came to help. This allowed the officers to get into his apartment and assist him with a special handcuff key. To be on the safe side, the police took the handcuffs with them because they had known the man in the past for a similar incident. However, why he tied himself to the radiator remained a mystery.
Curiosities can cause excitement
This unusual situation is a reminder that life can sometimes take strange turns. The man could probably have to listen to a lot if his friends found out about this incident. You could almost say that a good knack for choosing the right keys would have been an advantage in this case!
