In the heart of Veilsdorf, Hildburghausen district, Elschukom GmbH has celebrated a remarkable success. The company, which specializes in fine wire technology and runs on renewable energies, was awarded the prestigious Sustainable Impact Award 2025 excellent. The prize was awarded in the special category “Generali SME EnterPrize” and thus recognizes outstanding achievements in the area of ​​sustainability.

Ute Poerschke, the managing director of Elschukom, accepted the award on October 16, 2025 in Munich. This big evening, organized by WirtschaftsWoche, saw the company and other award winners showcase their innovative approaches to sustainable action. Since the award's inception, over 450 companies have attempted to qualify for this award. With the support of the Federal Association of Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW e.V.) and Lavazza, the competition shows how important and supported corporate sustainability is.
