A look at FSV Martinroda
FSV Martinroda, founded in 1928 and relaunched in 1997, is not only known for the pretty club colors blue and yellow. Under the direction of Mike Eckardt, who has been working as head coach since 2023, the club has positioned itself in the Central Thuringia District Oberliga and can look back on some successes.
In the current league year 2024/25, the team is in 10th place, and the historical successes speak for themselves: the Thuringian championship title in the 2018/19 season and the subsequent promotion to the NOFV-Oberliga are highlights in the club's chronicle. At Sportpark Martinroda there is space for around 1,500 spectators on the grass pitch, while the artificial turf provides space for a further 1,000, giving the club a solid basis for future performances.

The association currently consists of 198 members (as of 2019), with Andreas Hergert at the top as president. The deputy chairwoman assists the board Tina Pfeiffer.
