Jena signs Manchester talent: Pedro Vitor in training!

FC Carl Zeiss Jena has two interesting talents in training in preparation for the new season. On Monday, 25-year-old Pedro Vitor, who made a name for himself in the Oberliga with BFC Preußen last season, started training. The striker scored an impressive 20 goals in 29 games and helped his team gain promotion to the Regionalliga. Loud Picture Vitor is very interested in moving to Jena as his contract with BFC has expired and he can move on a free transfer.

FCC coach Volkan Uluc has already confirmed that an agreement with Vitor is in the air. Only contractual details are still pending. “Vitor wants to be integrated quickly and is extremely motivated,” reveals Uluc. Osazee Aghatise, a 22-year-old player with a remarkable past, is also new to training. Aghatise played for Manchester United and Manchester City as a youth before he was last without a club. Uluc emphasizes that Aghatise is good at football, but he still lacks the necessary team training experience.

New faces in training

In addition to Vitor and Aghatise, winger Timon Burmeister is also taking part in training. The 23-year-old played at VfL Wolfsburg in his youth and most recently played for second division club SV Lafnitz in Austria. His contract is also expiring and he could also move to FC Carl Zeiss Jena Thuringia24 reported.

Uluc plans to closely observe both Vitor and Burmeister during trial training to assess their suitability for the regional league. After a number of departures, the club has enough funds to potentially offer the two players a contract. “The team needs a breath of fresh air and I am confident that we will find the right players,” explains Uluc.
