In Haselünne, a previously unknown perpetrator broke into a garden and landscape construction company on Am Hövel last week. The break-in occurred between Friday, July 11th, at 3:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 12th, at 8:30 a.m., as unauthorized persons gained access to the site, as [gabot] (https://www.gabot.de/ansicht/haseluenne-in-in-garten-und-landschaft-betrieb- 436108.html). The perpetrators penetrated the warehouse and several company vehicles and stole valuable tools, machines and even cash from the coffee box, a total of around 150 euros.
The estimated total damage amounts to around 15,000 euros, which is a hard source of income for the company concerned. The final installation of the thieves is still pending. The police are looking for information on suspects or vehicles in the areas on the Hövel, B402 and garden center as well as on the site itself. theft - a persistent problem
The current figures show that thefts in companies are a widespread problem. In 2019, the damage was due to theft in companies, shops and warehouses at over 2 billion euros, and the reliability of the security measures remains a constant challenge. Especially in the area of theft of service, office and storage rooms, around 97,000 offenses were registered in 2018 alone, with a damage amount of 211 million euros, such as on Protection One.
The crime in Haselünne is not only an example of personal losses, but also raises questions about the security precautions in the industry. How can you prevent such attacks and what is necessary to better protect small and medium -sized companies? The break -in represents an existential threat to many companies and illustrates the importance of taking into account and strengthening prevention measures.
