Construction work on a new cycle path on the B 84 in Sünna, towards Vacha, has picked up speed again. After around three weeks of standstill, construction work was finally allowed to continue on June 27, 2025. As Mayor Roland Ernst (independent) announced at the local council meeting, there was no official construction stop. This was received as good news by those present, especially since the interruption was simply due to the executing company prioritizing another, more urgent measure. The cycle path will stretch from the “Breite Rasen” to the “Alten Bahnhof” and the community is pleased that work has resumed.
