Mette Pfeffer was named MVP for her strong performance and contributed 14 points.
“I am grateful for games like this because we can take a lot with us for our future work,” explained coach Waibl after the game. He adjusted the line-up after the third set in order to increase performance in the serve receiving area and to put his players in the best possible light. With the victory, the Dresden team consolidated their position in the Bundesliga after suffering a narrow defeat in Schwerin.
